Picking a gift for an adventure therapist
An adventure therapist does the work of a counselor, but the office has a trail, a river or a climbing wall instead of a couch. They might spend a morning on a ropes course with a group of teens and an afternoon writing session notes in the truck. The job runs on being outdoors in all weather, so the gifts that stick are the ones that hold up to it: a hoodie that goes over a fleece, a tee that survives a muddy trailhead, a mug that rides in the cup holder. Because the work sits between mental health and the outdoors, a design that nods to both says you understand what they do. You can type their title, a credential like LPC or LCSW, or the trail, program or river they work on into the text box and watch the preview update. If you're shopping for a whole program, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Adventure Therapist gift questions
Can I put a credential like LPC or LCSW on the design?
Yes. Type it into the text box, either after their name or on its own line. The preview updates right away, so you can check the spacing before you order.
Can I add the name of their program or a trail?
Many designs have a second line for text like that. Open a design and type in the program, the river, the trail or the region they work in.
What's a good gift for someone just starting out in this field?
A tee or hoodie with their new title and the year they started. It marks the career change, and they'll get plenty of wear out of it on the job.
Do you have anything for the kids of an adventure therapist?
Yes. Some designs come as kids tees and baby onesies, which makes a fun matching set for a family that spends weekends outside. Use the product filter to find them.
What sizes do the adventure therapist shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an adventure therapist gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.

- A mug with their credentialAn 11 oz mug with their name and LPC, LCSW or another credential rides well in a truck and sits well on a desk full of session notes.
- Matching tees for the whole programUse the Team Shop to print one design for the guides and clinicians, each shirt with its own name and size. It works for a staff retreat or a new season kickoff.
- A dark tee for gear daysA dark T-shirt hides trail dust and campfire smoke, so it's a practical pick for someone who's outside more than inside.
