Picking a gift for an advertising editor
An advertising editor lives in the gap between a good idea and a clean page. They fix the headline at 6 p.m., catch the number that doesn't match the brief, and cut the clever line that didn't earn its place. It's detail work, mostly unseen, and the people who do it tend to appreciate a gift that's a little dry and a little knowing. A shirt or mug that says advertising editor, with their name or a second line like Copy Desk, Proof Approved or Final Read, gets a smile from the people who know what the job takes. A hoodie suits the over-air-conditioned office and the deadline nights. A mug fits the desk where the red pens and cold coffee pile up. If you're buying for a whole desk or department, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name, which beats a card the whole floor signs.
Advertising Editor gift questions
Can I change advertising editor to a different title?
Yes. Type any title into the text box, such as managing editor, copy chief or ad sales editor, and the preview updates right away so you can check it before ordering.
Can I add a name or a publication to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Use it for their name, the title of the publication, a department or a year, and check the spacing in the live preview.
What's a good gift for an advertising editor who has everything on their desk?
A mug or tee with a line that fits their daily grind, like Final Read or Proof Approved. It's useful, personal and a little funny, which tends to go over better than a generic office gift.
Can I order the same design for a whole editorial team?
Yes. In the Team Shop, pick one design, paste the list of names and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name, so nobody has to share.
What sizes do the advertising editor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an advertising editor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.

- Matching shirts for the whole deskChoose one design in the Team Shop and paste in everyone's names. It works well for a new hire welcome, a big launch or a year-end gift from the team.
