Picking a gift for an air director
An air director is the person who keeps a lot of moving pieces from colliding, and most of their day happens through a headset, a radio or a screen. They don't get much downtime, and the people around them know the job runs on calm, clear communication. A gift for them should feel like it comes from someone who gets that. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for a chilly ops room or a hangar, a mug that can sit next to the keyboard through a long shift. Put their title on it, then use the second line for something that's only true of them: their name, their facility, their call sign, their unit or the year they took the role. If you're shopping for a promotion, a retirement or a team that works together every day, a shared design makes the whole crew look like a crew. Keep the wording short, since the best versions read at a glance.
Air Director gift questions
Can I add a name or call sign under Air Director?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a name, call sign, facility or year there and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
What's a good gift for an air director who's retiring?
A hoodie or mug with their title and years of service is a solid pick. Add a short line from the crew, or order matching shirts for the team so everyone shows up wearing the same thing.
Can I change the title to something close, like air boss or air operations director?
Yes. The main word is just text you type, so you can swap in the exact title they use, and every design updates to match.
Are there air director designs for kids or babies?
Yes. Some designs come as kids tees and a baby onesie, which is a fun fit for a family where one parent holds the title. Use the product filter to see them.
What sizes do the air director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an air director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
