Gifts from Akhiok
Akhiok is a small village on Kodiak Island in southwest Alaska, and the people who call it home are tied to the place in a way that's hard to explain to outsiders. Long winters, fishing seasons that shape the calendar, and a community small enough that everyone knows whose truck is in whose driveway. A shirt or mug with Akhiok on it is how someone who grew up there, or whose family is from there, carries it with them when they leave. For a relative who moved away, a hoodie is the practical choice for the cold months, and a mug is a daily reminder of home. You can personalize any design with a second line for a family name, a graduation year or a nickname, which makes the gift feel like it came from someone who knows where they're from.
Akhiok gift questions
Can I add a family name or a year under Akhiok?
Many designs have a second line. Type a family name, a graduation year or a nickname there and the preview will show you how it fits.
Is there a kids option for Akhiok?
Yes. Akhiok comes as kids tees and baby onesies, so you can pass the village name down to the next generation.
What's the difference between the light and dark shirts?
The light tee suits lighter colors and the dark tee is printed for dark fabric. Pick the one that matches the color they'd actually wear.
Can I order for several people at once?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the akhiok shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Akhiok gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
