Gifts from Alto
Alto is a small city in Michigan, so the people who live there tend to be proud of it, and the people who grew up there and moved away tend to miss it. A shirt with Alto on it is a quick way to say where you're from without a long explanation. It suits the Alto native who now lives somewhere else and still wears their hometown on game days or family trips, and it suits people who stayed and like being known as local. Because the word is short, the second line can carry the detail that makes it personal, such as a graduation year or a street they grew up on. Hoodies work well for cold months, and a mug is an easy everyday reminder for the kitchen of someone who never quite stopped calling it home.
