Gifts from Americus
Americus is a small city in southwest Georgia, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A shirt with the city name is how a former resident wears their hometown to a college campus, a new job out of state, or a reunion back in town. Because the place is smaller and less famous than a big city, a gift like this often lands as a sign that you remember where they came from. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a high school class, or a neighborhood nickname that only locals would recognize. A hoodie suits the cold snaps that come to any Southern town, and a mug works well for the transplant who starts each morning missing home. Kids tees and baby onesies let a family pass the name down to the next generation as a joke or a point of pride.
Americus gift questions
Can I add a year or a nickname under the city name?
Many designs have a second line. Type a year, a class, or a nickname there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Are there Americus designs for kids and babies?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees, and baby onesies with the city name. Use the product filter to see which designs are available for each.
Which Americus product works best for someone who moved away?
A mug or a hoodie tends to work well. A mug is a daily reminder, and a hoodie is something they can wear in colder places where they now live.
Can I order Americus shirts for a group?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a whole group. Paste the list of names and pick a size for each person, and each shirt will carry its own name.
What sizes do the americus shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Americus gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
