Gifts from Andrews Afb
Andrews Air Force Base sits just outside Washington, D.C., in Maryland, and it's home to a lot of people who move around the country every few years. Military families know the drill: new schools, new neighbors, and a base name that only means something to people who've lived on it. A shirt that says Andrews AFB is how a service member, a spouse or a kid says where they've been and where they're proud to have served. Pair the base name with a second line for a squadron, a unit, a rank or a year they were stationed there, and it becomes their story rather than a generic base tee. A hoodie suits the cold Maryland winters, and a mug fits the kitchen of a family that's packed up and unpacked more times than they can count. If you're buying for a kid, a onesie or kids tee with the base name is a sweet way to mark where they started.
