Gifts from Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor people tend to be fiercely attached to their town, whether they grew up there, came for the university, or simply ended up staying. The city is known for its leafy streets, its farmers markets, and a college-town energy that never really switches off, so a shirt that says Ann Arbor is how someone shows they belong to that particular place and not just to Michigan in general. For the student who has finished their degree and is heading off to a new job, a hoodie with the city name is a warm reminder of where those years were spent. For the local who spends weekends at the farmers market and knows which coffee shop has the best window seat, a dark tee or a mug gives them something to wear or sip while they plan the next outing. You can make it personal by adding a neighborhood, a graduation year, or a street they live on in the second line, which turns a city name into their own story.
