Gifts from Ansonia
Ansonia is a small city on the Naugatuck River in the Lower Naugatuck Valley of Connecticut, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of it in a quiet, local way. A shirt that says Ansonia is for the person who grew up there and came back for the holidays, the friend who moved away and still checks the weather for home, or the family who has lived on the same street for generations. Because the word is specific, the best gifts lean into the personal: a second line with a street, a school class year, or the year they moved away. Pick a design that reads well at a glance, then type in something only they would recognize. Ansonia designs come as adult tees, dark tees, kids tees, onesies, hoodies and mugs, so you can match the gift to whoever you're buying for, whether that's a grandparent, a teenager or a newborn with a family history in town.
Ansonia gift questions
Can I add a street or school year to an Ansonia design?
Many designs have a second line you can use for a year, a street, a class or a name. Type it in and the live preview will show you how it sits under the main word before you order.
Which Ansonia products are most popular for gifts?
People tend to go with a tee or hoodie for everyday wear and a mug for the kitchen. If you're buying for a child or a new baby, the kids tee or onesie designs are the right size.
Do the designs work for people who moved away?
Yes. Many buyers choose Ansonia for someone who grew up there and now lives somewhere else, since it's a simple way to show where they're from.
What sizes do the ansonia shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Ansonia gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
