Picking a gift for an aquatic instructor
An aquatic instructor spends long days in the water teaching swim lessons, water aerobics, lifeguard classes or lap sessions, with chlorine on their skin and a whistle around their neck. They're usually up before the pool opens and still thinking about a nervous kid's first float when they get home. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well: a soft tee they can wear straight from the pool deck, a hoodie for the chilly mornings before the water warms up, or a mug for the poolside coffee they'll drink while the lanes fill. Put their name on it, and add the facility, the age group they teach or the certification they earned, so it reads as theirs rather than a generic pool shirt. If you're buying for a whole swim team or a staff of instructors, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better thank-you than another box of donuts. Many instructors start new seasons in spring and fall, so a shirt before the first class can be a nice send-off.
Aquatic Instructor gift questions
Can I add a certification like WSI or Red Cross to the shirt?
Yes, if they hold it. Type the credential on the second line so it sits under their name, and check the preview before ordering. If you're unsure of the exact name, use their credential as you know it from their certificate.
What's a good gift for a new aquatic instructor?
A hoodie or tee with their name and the year they started teaching is a good marker of a first season. It's useful at the pool and easy to wear afterward.
Can I order shirts for the whole staff?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, so every instructor gets a shirt with their own name.
What sizes do the aquatic instructor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an aquatic instructor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
