Gifts from Argos
Argos is a city in southern Greece, and a shirt with its name is a quiet way to mark a connection to a place most people only know from maps or school history. The people who'd wear this are often someone with family roots there, a traveler who fell hard for its ancient ruins and seaside light, or a history lover who keeps coming back to the stories of Greek city-states. A gift that names the city lands best when it matches the person's own story: a tee for the summer they spent on the Peloponnese, a hoodie for the chilly evenings they'd rather spend reading about ancient Argos, or a mug for the morning coffee ritual that carries them back. Because the word is a place rather than a name, you can add a second line that makes the design theirs, such as a year they visited or the name of the family village. If you're unsure how the city is spelled in their family, type the version they use and the preview will show you how it looks before you order.
Argos gift questions
Is Argos the same as Argos in the United States?
The name is most widely known for the ancient Greek city in the Peloponnese. It's also a name used for a few places and businesses elsewhere, so type any second line that makes the meaning clear.
Can I add a second line to Argos designs?
Many designs have a space for a year, a village or a name. Type it in and the live preview will show you the layout before you order.
Are there Argos designs for babies and kids?
Yes. There are baby onesies and kids tees with the city name, which are a good way to share a family connection with a new generation.
What sizes do the argos shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Argos gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
