Gifts from Armagh
Armagh is a small city in Northern Ireland, and people from there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. Armagh is famous as the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland, home to two cathedrals and a long history that goes back to the fifth century, and a shirt with the city name is how someone shows that pride at a match, a family reunion or a trip back home. Many people who grew up there have moved away for work or study, and a mug or hoodie with Armagh on it is a quiet reminder of where they started. If you're buying for someone who lives abroad or misses home, the second line on most designs is where the personal touch goes: a street, a school year, the year they left, or the name of the parish they grew up in. The shirt says Armagh, but the words underneath are the part that feel like theirs.
