Gifts from Arroyo Seco
Arroyo Seco is the kind of name that makes people ask where it is, and the person who lives there or came from there usually has a story about explaining it. The name is Spanish for dry creek bed, and the place carries that history in its streets and older neighborhoods. For someone who grew up there and moved away, a shirt with the name is a way of saying where they're from without a long introduction. For someone who lives there now, it's a point of local pride, the thing they wear to the farmers market or the neighborhood fair. A hoodie works for the cold mornings, a mug for the kitchen table, and a kids tee for a family that wants the next generation to know its own address. If you're buying for someone who is far from home, a name shirt is a small, specific piece of home they can wear anywhere.
