Picking a gift for an art gallery internship
An art gallery internship is usually unpaid or low-paid, long on hanging shows, writing wall labels, and answering the phone, and short on glamour. The person doing it is often taking the bus to a gallery across town on a Saturday, learning how a show gets installed, and quietly deciding whether this world is really theirs. A gift that acknowledges that effort lands well. A soft tee for the days spent crating and unpacking artwork, a hoodie for the chilly gallery back office, or a mug for the early mornings before opening all say you noticed the work. Add the gallery's name or the season of the internship as a second line if you know it, so the shirt reads as theirs and not a generic arts shirt. The internship is a stepping stone, so a gift that feels like the start of a career rather than a reward for a summer can mean more.
Art Gallery Internship gift questions
Can I add the gallery's name to the design?
Many designs have a second line, so you can type the gallery name there. Check the preview to make sure it fits before you order.
Is there a design for a kids or baby version of this?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word, though the options are fewer than for the adult shirts. Use the product filter to compare them.
What is a good gift for someone finishing an internship?
A hoodie or mug with their internship title and the year is a personal way to mark the end of the program and the start of what comes next.
Can I order for a whole group of interns?
Yes. Choose one design in the Team Shop, paste the group's names, and pick a size for each person so every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the art gallery internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an art gallery internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
