Picking a gift for an arts director
An arts director usually juggles a season's calendar, a budget that never quite stretches, donors who want to be in the room, and artists who need the lights and the stage at the same time. They're often the last one in the building after a show and the first one back the next morning. A gift that acknowledges the job lands well: a tee for the gallery opening or the rehearsal hall, a hoodie for the cold walk from the parking garage, a mug for the office where the schedule lives. Put their title on it and the word becomes a little badge of what they do. If you're buying for a whole arts team or board, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to be more fun than another round of thank-you cards.
Arts Director gift questions
Can I add a name or organization under arts director?
Many designs have a second line. Type the theatre, museum or company name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a kids version for an arts director?
Kids tees come in a few designs. They're a fun pick if the arts director has a child who wants to match them at a gallery event.
Do I need a special credential on the shirt?
No. Arts director works on its own. If they hold a specific credential you know about, you can add it in the second line.
What's a good gift for a retiring arts director?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they joined the organization makes a warm keepsake from the staff.
What sizes do the arts director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an arts director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
