Gifts from Athol
Athol is a small town in Massachusetts, and people from there tend to hold onto it. A shirt that says Athol is how a former resident wears their hometown to a visit back, a college campus three hours west, or a new job in a city that has never heard of it. Small towns make good gifts because the people who love them are usually proud of the smallness, not embarrassed by it. Put it on a hoodie for the cold months, a mug for the commuter who misses the drive home, or a tee for a family reunion where everyone is coming back. For a child, a kids tee or a baby onesie lets a family start a hometown tradition early, and a toddler in an Athol shirt is a conversation starter at any grocery store.
