Gifts for Audio Video Teches

Picking a gift for an audio video tech

An audio video tech spends a lot of time on their feet in dim rooms, running cable, racking gear and sorting out a microphone that cut out five minutes before the keynote. They're the person who notices the projector is a shade too warm and fixes it before anyone complains, and most of their work gets noticed only when it goes wrong. A gift that acknowledges that quiet competence tends to land well. A soft tee works for load-ins and long event days, a hoodie helps in the cold loading dock or the chilly ballroom, and a mug is the thing that goes with them through the first coffee of a six a.m. call. Type their job title into the text box, then add a second line for a company name, a venue or a crew they run with, and the design becomes theirs instead of a generic label. If you're buying for a whole crew, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a simple way to say you see the work they do.
