Gifts with August on them
August is a name with a calendar attached, so people with it tend to hear the joke within a minute of meeting anyone. The gift that lands is the one that takes the joke as a compliment: a tee or hoodie with August on it that they can wear to the office, the park, or a summer barbecue where somebody inevitably asks whether they're named after the month. Many people named August have a birthday in the summer, so a shirt with their name and the year they turned a milestone age is a warm, personal choice. For a kid named August, a kids tee or baby onesie gives the family something to pass down. Adding a second line, like a nickname, a birth year or a city they love, turns a plain name into something that's clearly theirs.
August gift questions
Can I add a nickname or a year under August?
Many designs have a second line. Type the nickname or year there and the preview will update so you can check how it looks before you order.
Is August a good name for a kids shirt?
Yes. Kids tees and baby onesies are available with the name, so you can match a gift to the child's size and age.
Can I order one design for a whole group named August?
Use the Team Shop. Choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person so each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the august shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an August gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
