Picking a gift for an authorization technician
An authorization technician, often called a prior auth tech, spends the day making sure patients get the treatments their doctors ordered. That means chasing insurance approvals, reading policy language, and calling payers on hold for longer than anyone would like. It's detailed, persistent work that rarely gets thanked, and a gift that acknowledges it lands well. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the chilly office, or a mug for the desk that holds the pile of fax confirmations all say that you see what the job takes. Add their credential if they have one, and the title itself becomes the personal touch. The shirt, mug or hoodie can be simple, but it should feel like theirs.
Authorization Technician gift questions
Can I add a credential like CPAT to the shirt?
Yes, if they hold one. Type it on a second line under the title so it reads clearly. If you're unsure of their exact credential, ask them first, since getting it right matters.
What do authorization technicians actually do?
They submit and track requests for insurance approval before a patient receives a test, procedure or medication. They work with providers, payers and patients to get the paperwork done correctly.
Can I order shirts for my whole team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the authorization technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an authorization technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
