Gifts from Auto
Auto is a Michigan word for many people, a shorthand for the auto industry, the factory towns and the families who have worked on the line for generations. It's also a word that gets a lot of pride from people who grew up in Detroit suburbs or in the cities and towns built around cars. Because the word is about a place and a way of life, the best gifts tie it to the person's own corner of it: their town, their street, the year they started, or the shop they worked at. A shirt that says Auto with a neighborhood or a graduation year underneath feels like theirs rather than a souvenir. A hoodie suits the cold mornings of a plant parking lot, and a mug is the easy daily reminder of home for someone who has moved away. Pick the product that matches their life and add the detail only they would recognize.
Auto gift questions
Can I add a town or neighborhood to an Auto design?
Many designs have a second line for a place name. Type it in and the preview will show how it sits under the main word before you order.
Are there Auto designs for kids and babies?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies with Auto designs. Choose the product you need on the page to see them.
Can I order Auto shirts for a whole family or crew?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design and paste a list of names, then pick a size for each person so every shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good Auto gift for someone who just started a job?
A hoodie or mug with the year they started works well. It marks the new chapter without feeling like a work uniform.
What sizes do the auto shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Auto gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
