Avocet gifts for the people who love them
An avocet is a long-legged shorebird with a fine upturned bill and a striking black-and-white pattern, and the people who love them are usually birders who will happily wade through a salt marsh at dawn to see one feed. They watch the bill sweep side to side through shallow water, and they can talk for an hour about where the birds nest and when the flocks show up on the mudflats. A gift for someone like that should show you noticed what they care about. An Avocet tee or hoodie is a good everyday choice for field trips and cold early mornings on the water. A mug suits the kitchen table where they plan the next outing. If you're buying for a child who's just discovered birds, a kids tee or baby onesie with the word on it is a sweet way to start a collection. Add a second line, like a common name or a spot they've seen one, and the shirt becomes their own.
