Gifts from Bamberg
Bamberg is a small city in northern Bavaria, known for its medieval old town and its many breweries, several of which still serve smoked beer, the rauchbier style that Bamberg is famous for. Its UNESCO-listed old town sits on seven hills, and the cathedral and the Altes Rathaus built in the river are the landmarks most visitors come to see. Someone who has lived there or visited on a long trip tends to hold onto it, so a Bamberg shirt or mug lands as a memory of a particular place rather than a generic souvenir. For a German-Americans or a traveler who spent a semester there, the name alone can carry a lot. Put the word on the front and add a second line for a year they lived there, a street or the neighborhood they loved, and the piece becomes theirs. A hoodie suits the cool Bavarian autumn walks along the Regnitz, and a mug works for the morning coffee they'd rather have with a view of the river.
Bamberg gift questions
Can I add a neighborhood or street name to a Bamberg design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a neighborhood, street or year there, and the preview will show how it sits under the city name.
Are there Bamberg designs for kids or babies?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees and a few baby onesies. Use the product filter on the page to see only those.
