Basenji gifts for the people who love them
Basenjis are the dogs that don't bark, which is the first thing most people learn about them and the last thing a Basenji owner stops explaining. They're small, cat-like, fastidious about their own cleanliness, and they'll make a sound somewhere between a yodel and a scream when something interests them. A Basenji person is usually a little amused by the breed and a little proud of putting up with it. A shirt with the breed name is the easy gift, but it lands harder when you add the detail they live with: a second line with the dog's name, or a line about the silence, a line that gets a laugh at the dog park. For the owner who has tried to explain the yodel to strangers, a mug on the kitchen counter every morning is a small joke they'll enjoy every day.
Basenji gift questions
Do Basenjis really not bark?
They are known for making very few barking sounds and yodeling instead, but they aren't silent. Owners often say they're quiet compared with many breeds, and that's part of why the breed is so loved.
Can I add my dog's name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type your dog's name under the breed name and check the preview before ordering.
Which products are best for a Basenji owner?
A tee or hoodie suits someone who walks their dog in all weather, and a mug fits anyone who wants a daily reminder of the breed.
Are there designs for kids who love Basenjis?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies with Basenji designs.
What sizes do the basenji shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a basenji gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
