Gifts from Bentonia
Bentonia is a small town in Yazoo County, Mississippi, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Whether they're still around the Delta or have moved to a city where nobody has heard of the place, a Bentonia shirt is how they say where they're from without a long explanation. Small towns like this run on high school football, church suppers and the people who never left, so the gifts that land are the ones that feel like home. A tee for the drive back for a homecoming weekend, a hoodie for a relative who moved north and still misses the Mississippi heat, or a mug for the kitchen of someone whose family has been there for generations. Put the town name front and center, and use the second line for a class year, a street or a family name if you want it to be unmistakably theirs.
