Gifts from Bertha
Bertha is a place name, and it's a small one: a town most shoppers won't recognize unless they're from there or near it. Because it's uncommon, the best gifts aren't built around a famous landmark. Instead, they lean on the people who call Bertha home or who left and still carry it with them. A tee for a day in town, a hoodie for the cold months, or a mug for the kitchen of someone who grew up there all say that the place matters. Since a single word can feel thin on its own, use the second line for a detail only the recipient would recognize, such as a street, a year they moved, or the name of the people they're closest to. Think about what they'd want to show off to people who've never heard of the place, and let the design do that quietly.
Bertha gift questions
Can I add a street, year or family name under Bertha?
Many designs have a second line. Type the extra detail there and the preview will update so you can see how it looks before you order.
I'm not sure how to spell the place name. Can I check it first?
Double-check the spelling against an official source or ask the recipient before you order. The text box uses exactly what you type, so a small error will print as written.
Are there Bertha designs for kids?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies with the Bertha designs. Use the product filter to see them.
Can I order one design for a whole group?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. Paste the list of names and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the bertha shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Bertha gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
