Gifts from Big Sur
Big Sur is a stretch of Central California coast where the Santa Lucia Mountains drop straight into the Pacific, with Highway 1 winding along the cliffs and very little in between. People who love it tend to love it fiercely: they've hiked the redwood trails, watched the fog roll over the headlands, or spent a long weekend at a coastal inn with no cell signal and didn't want to leave. A gift for someone like that should carry the feeling of the place rather than a generic beach slogan. A tee or hoodie in soft, earthy colors makes a good everyday reminder for the person who still talks about the drive down the coast. A mug suits the morning ritual of someone who wants their first cup to feel like an overlook. If the recipient has a particular trip or year they remember, add it on the second line so the shirt tells their story and not just the place's name.
Big Sur gift questions
Can I add a trip year or a date to a Big Sur design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a year, a trip name or a date there and check the preview before you order.
Is Big Sur a town?
Big Sur is a stretch of rugged coastline and communities in Monterey County, California, not one incorporated city. Many designs use the name alone, which works well for someone who loves the whole coast.
Are there Big Sur designs for kids?
Yes. Kids tees and baby onesies are available for some designs, so you can use the product filter to see which ones come in those sizes.
Can I put a name on a Big Sur shirt for a group trip?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the big sur shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Big Sur gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
