Picking a gift for a binder
A bookbinder works with paper, thread and glue, often in a quiet shop with a guillotine and a bone folder within reach. Whether they repair old books, make handmade journals or finish a run of printed pages, the job rewards patience and a steady hand. A gift that acknowledges the craft lands better than a generic joke. A tee or hoodie with binder on it works well for the studio or a class, and a mug suits the bench where they sit with their morning coffee between presses. Add their own name or a studio name on the second line to make it personal. Keep the design simple so the lettering shows the care they put into their work.
Binder gift questions
Can I add a studio name or their own name to a binder shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type a studio name, their name or a year there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a binder design for dark fabric?
Yes. Dark T-shirts and Kids Dark T-shirts have their own binder designs, so you can pick the color that suits them best.
What should I get for a bookbinder who works at home?
A mug or hoodie tends to suit home workspaces best, since they're used every day. A tee works well if they often teach or sell at events.
What sizes do the binder shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a binder gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
