Gifts from Bodega
A bodega is the corner store that's open when nothing else is, the place that keeps a few eggs, a pack of gum and a bagel on the counter for whoever comes in at 6 a.m. Bodegas are a big part of everyday life in New York and in many other cities, and the people who run them and shop at them tend to be fiercely loyal to their own block. A bodega shirt or mug says you know that rhythm: the deli cart out front, the cat that sleeps in the window, the regulars who all know each other's order. For someone who grew up around one, or who misses the little store near their old apartment, the word itself is the gift. Pick a light tee for everyday wear or a dark one that hides the coffee stains. If you want something to hang on the kitchen wall or sit on a desk, the mug works well, and a hoodie is the right pick for the chilly walk to the corner store in winter.
Bodega gift questions
Can I add a neighborhood or a street name to a bodega design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the street or neighborhood there and the preview will show how it looks before you order.
Do bodega designs come in kids and baby sizes?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies with bodega designs. Use the product filter to see them.
Which design works best as a gift for someone who's moved away?
The mug is a good choice for someone who misses their old bodega, since they'll see it every morning. Adding their old neighborhood on the second line makes it personal.
Can I use the word bodega as a first name or last name?
Yes. Type a name into the text box on any design and the preview will update to show it.
What sizes do the bodega shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Bodega gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
