Bombay gifts for the people who love them
Bombay can mean two very different things, and this page serves both. For cat people, it's the Bombay: the sleek, all-black cat with the copper eyes who looks like a tiny panther and behaves like a lap dog. Owners tend to be devoted, and a Bombay cat gift tends to land because it's about their particular animal, not cats in general. Put the cat's own name on a shirt, a mug or a hoodie and it becomes theirs. For the other crowd, Bombay is the old name for Mumbai, still used with real affection by people who grew up there or whose family did. A Bombay tee suits the homesick, the nostalgic and anyone who still can't quite say the new name. Add a second line with a name, a year or a neighborhood, and check the preview before you order.
Bombay gift questions
Can I put my cat's name on a Bombay design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type your cat's name there. The preview updates as you type, so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is this page for the cat breed or the city?
Both. Bombay is a cat breed and the former name of Mumbai. Pick whichever meaning fits the person you're buying for, and personalize the second line to match.
Can I add a neighborhood or year for a Bombay-born gift?
Yes. Use the second line for a neighborhood, a family name or a year. It turns a general city shirt into something specific to them.
Do you have Bombay designs for kids or babies?
Yes. There are kids tees and baby onesies with Bombay designs. Use the product filter to see them, then personalize the text before you order.
What sizes do the bombay shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a bombay gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
