Gifts for people into bonsai
Bonsai people play a long game. A tree that took ten years to shape is still a work in progress, and the person who tends it knows every wire, every pruning cut and the winter they almost lost it. That patience is what you're gifting to. They'll appreciate something that nods to the craft without being cute about it: a tee for repotting season, a hoodie for cold mornings out on the bench, a mug that sits next to the tray of tools. Put the species they're proudest of on it, like Juniper, Japanese Maple or Ficus, or the name of their garden, or the year they started their first tree. If they belong to a local club, the Team Shop lets you order one design with every member's name, which beats another round of trimmed-branch jokes. Kids who help in the garden get their own tees too.
Bonsai gift questions
Can I put a tree species or garden name on a bonsai design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, place or species. Type Juniper, Ficus or the name of their garden and the preview updates so you can check it.
What's a good gift for someone just starting bonsai?
A tee or mug that says Bonsai with the year they began. It marks the start of a long project, and they'll enjoy looking back at it when the first tree is finally shaped.
Can I order bonsai shirts for a club?
Yes. In the Team Shop, choose one design, paste your members' names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Are there bonsai designs for kids?
Yes. Kids tees come in light and dark options, so a young helper in the garden can have their own. Use the product filter on this page to see them.
What sizes do the bonsai shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a bonsai gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
