Picking a gift for a boring machine operator
A boring machine operator spends long shifts running a tunnel boring machine or a drill rig, often underground, watching gauges and listening for changes in the ground. The work runs around the clock on many jobs, so the people who do it are used to odd hours, cold, damp tunnels and a lot of time in hard hats and ear protection. A gift that acknowledges that world lands well. A tee or hoodie with their job title on it is something they can wear to the site, on the drive in, or to the family barbecue where nobody quite understands what they do all day. Add their name or their crew and it becomes theirs. A mug works for the early shift, when the coffee is the first thing that gets them going. Most shoppers pick a design, type in the job title and a name, and check the preview before ordering.
