Gifts from Brogue
A brogue is a sturdy leather shoe with decorative perforations along the toes and seams, and the word also names the regional accent of Ireland, Scotland and parts of the North of England. A brogue shirt is a quiet nod to someone who cares about shoes, or who grew up hearing a particular accent at home. Brogue is also the kind of word that works as a name for a small town or a family line, so it can mean something specific to the person you're buying for. Because the word is less common than most, the best gifts usually come from pairing it with something personal: the year they bought their first good pair of shoes, the place their family is from, or the name they go by. Browse the designs below, check the preview on the product you like, and add the detail that makes it theirs.
