Picking a gift for a buffer
A buffer is usually someone who sands, polishes or finishes a surface, whether that's car paint, wood, metal or a guitar body, and the work is hours of steady, repetitive attention to detail. The gifts that land with them are the ones that show you understand that patience. A soft tee for the shop, a hoodie for the cold garage or the workshop floor, or a mug for the coffee they drink between panels. Add their trade or shop name in the second line, or the word buffer in the main slot, so it reads as theirs and not a generic work shirt. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is a better gift than another lunch order. The product spans light and dark tees, hoodies and mugs, so you can match the gift to how they spend a day on the job.
Buffer gift questions
Can I add a shop name or a second line under buffer?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a shop, a crew, a year or a name. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a design for a kid who wants to be a buffer when they grow up?
Yes. There are kids tees and dark kids tees with this word, which work well for a child who likes helping in the shop.
Which product works best for someone who works in a cold shop?
The hoodie is the warmest option. The tees work well for warmer shops, and the mug suits anyone who goes through a lot of coffee on the job.
What sizes do the buffer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a buffer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
