Picking a gift for a building tech
Building technicians keep the lights on, the HVAC running and the elevators moving, usually before anyone upstairs notices there was a problem. They work in mechanical rooms, on roofs and in crawlspaces, often at odd hours when a boiler fails or a building needs to be cleared. A gift that respects that work tends to be practical: something soft enough for a long day in the field, a hoodie for the cold rooftop mornings, a mug for the first coffee before the first call. Putting building tech on the piece tells them you know what their job actually is, not just that you've heard the word. You can add their name or company line in the second line of the design, or a year if they're marking a milestone like a first licensed year or a retirement. A tee or mug with their title on it is a small thing that tends to get worn until it falls apart.
Building Tech gift questions
Can I add a company name or their name under building tech?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type their name or company there and the preview will update before you order.
Is there a building tech design for kids?
There are a few kids tee designs and a baby onesie. Use the product filter to see them, though most designs for this word are for adults.
Can I order shirts for a whole maintenance team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, with every shirt printed with its own name.
What sizes do the building tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a building tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
