Picking a gift for a building technician
Building technicians keep the lights on, the HVAC running and the elevators moving, usually before anyone upstairs has noticed a problem. They're up on ladders in mechanical rooms, chasing a bad thermostat at seven in the morning and fielding calls when a tenant's office goes cold. A gift that respects that work is something practical and comfortable enough for a long day in a boiler room. A dark tee hides the grease and dust, a hoodie keeps them warm on a rooftop in January, and a mug gives them a spot for coffee during the early start. Put their trade on it, building technician, and add a second line for their company, their crew or the building they look after. It turns a generic work shirt into one that's clearly theirs, the kind they'll wear on the job for years.
