Gifts from Buncombe
Buncombe is a county, not a city, and that's worth getting right on a gift. Buncombe County sits in the mountains of western North Carolina, with Asheville at its center, so the people who'd wear this are likely locals, transplants who fell for the mountains, or former residents who miss the Blue Ridge views and the town's music and food scene. A shirt that says Buncombe works as a quiet point of pride, the kind worn to a brewery on a Saturday or a trip to the farmers market. Because the county name is less common than Asheville, it tends to draw a question or two, and that's part of the fun. A hoodie is the right pick for mountain weather, which turns cold fast in fall and spring. For someone who's left the area, an 11 oz mug with the county name gives them something to hold onto every morning.
Buncombe gift questions
Is Buncombe a city or a county?
Buncombe is a county in western North Carolina, and Asheville is its largest city. Designs use the county name, so check that it's the name you want before you order.
Can I add Asheville or a neighborhood to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type Asheville, a neighborhood or a year there, and the preview will update so you can see how it looks.
Is there a Buncombe design for kids?
Yes. Kids tees come in light and dark versions, and there are baby onesies too. Use the product filter to see them.
What's a good gift for someone who moved away from Buncombe?
A mug or a hoodie works well, since both get used daily and remind them of home. Adding the year they left can make it more personal.
What sizes do the buncombe shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Buncombe gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
