Picking a gift for a business associate
A business associate is someone who shows up to the same meetings, shares the same long quarter, and keeps the same deadlines as you, even if they don't sit in your reporting line. The gifts that land with them are the everyday ones: a mug for the desk that gets reheated coffee at 3 p.m., a hoodie for the chilly conference room, a tee for the weekend they're finally doing something unrelated to work. Because the role itself is broad, the most useful thing you can do is make the gift about them rather than the title. Put their first name on it, or add the team or project they've been carrying for the last year. A business associate might be a partner, a vendor contact, a consultant or a colleague from another department, so a gift that's warm but not overly personal usually fits best. Keep it light, make it specific to them, and it will read as thoughtful rather than obligatory.
Business Associate gift questions
What should I put on a gift for a business associate?
Their first name is the safest choice. You can also add a team, a project name or a year to make it feel more personal without being too familiar.
Is a mug or a shirt better for a work contact?
A mug is usually the easier pick because it fits almost any relationship and gets used daily. A shirt works well if you know them outside the office or you're gifting a whole team.
Can I order for a whole group of associates?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste the list of names and pick a size for each person, so every shirt is printed with its own name.
Are there designs for kids or babies?
Business associate designs come in kids tees and a baby onesie, so you can use them for a family member if the gift needs to go in a different direction.
What sizes do the business associate shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a business associate gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
