Gifts from Butternut
Butternut is a small, quiet name, the kind of word that shows up on a sign at a crossroads and nowhere else, so it tends to mean a lot to the people who carry it. Butternut is also a tree, a squash and a color, which gives you a few ways into a gift. Someone from a place called Butternut, or who grew up on a road by that name, will likely be glad to see it printed on something they can actually wear or drink from. Because the word is uncommon, a shirt with the name on it often starts a conversation: people ask where it's from, and the answer is usually a story. A hoodie suits the cold months, a mug suits the morning, and the kids tees and onesies make it a family thing. If you want the gift to feel like theirs, add a second line with the town, county or street they associate with the name, and it becomes a small piece of their own history.
Butternut gift questions
Can I add a town or family name to a Butternut design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a place, year or name. Type it in and the preview will show how it looks before you order.
Is Butternut a place or a family name?
It can be either, and sometimes both. If you know the town or family it belongs to, add that detail to make the gift more personal.
What's a good Butternut gift for a kid?
The kids tees and baby onesies are a simple choice. A child's name on the second line makes the shirt feel like theirs.
What sizes do the butternut shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Butternut gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
