Picking a gift for a cafe aide
A cafe aide is the person who keeps a school lunchroom running: setting up the line, helping students with trays, wiping tables between periods and knowing every kid's name by October. It's a job that rarely gets a thank-you card, so a gift that says cafe aide on it lands harder than most people expect. They're on their feet for most of the day, often in a warm kitchen, and they usually have a favorite mug, a go-to hoodie for chilly mornings and a tee they wear on half-day Fridays. Think about what their shift actually looks like. A mug for the staff break room, a hoodie for the early bus-duty mornings, or a tee with their school name in the second line makes the gift feel like it was picked for them. Add their name, the school or the district, and the design stops being generic and becomes unmistakably theirs.
Cafe Aide gift questions
Can I add the school name or district to a cafe aide design?
Many designs have a second line for a school, district or year. Type it into the text box and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a kids version of a cafe aide design?
Yes, there are a few kids tees for the word. Those are mainly for children who want to dress up like a grown-up helper at home, so most shoppers stick with the adult shirts and hoodies.
What's a good gift for a cafe aide who's leaving the job?
A mug with their name and the year they served is a warm keepsake they can use at their next job or at home. A hoodie works well too, since it's something they'll wear long after the last day.
Can I order matching shirts for a whole cafeteria team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the cafe aide shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a cafe aide gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
