Gifts from Calhan
Calhan is a small town on the high plains east of Colorado Springs, the kind of place where people know each other and notice who's gone off to the city. A shirt with Calhan on it is how a local shows where they're from, whether they're still around or have moved on. It suits the person who's proud of a small-town address, the one who left and still tells people where home is, or the kid who's growing up with a town that fits on a single road. Put Calhan on a mug for the kitchen table, a hoodie for cold mornings out on the plains, or a tee for a town get-together. A second line can carry a year, a street or a family name, so the design becomes about their Calhan and not just the town's name.
