Gifts from California
California people tend to be loud about it. Whether they're still in the Bay Area, working from a kitchen table in Austin, or grinding out a degree in Fresno, they'll tell you where they're from before you ask. That makes California an easy word to gift well. A tee with the state name is the starting point, but the better version has something closer to home underneath: San Diego, the Central Coast, the Valley, Humboldt, or the street they grew up on. A hoodie is the obvious pick for foggy mornings and cold beach nights, and a mug suits the person who moved away and wants a little home on the desk. If you're buying for a family, kids tees and baby onesies let the youngest members rep the state too. Add a year for a move, a graduation or a road trip, and it becomes theirs.
