Picking a gift for a camera operator
A camera operator spends long days on set or on location, shouldering a rig that can weigh more than they'd like, watching a monitor while the director calls changes and the light shifts. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the work: a tee for the drive to the next shoot, a hoodie for the cold early calls, a mug for the coffee that keeps them going before sunrise. Camera operators are often proud of the craft and of the crews they run with, so a shirt with their title on it reads as recognition rather than a joke. Add a second line for their specialty, their production company, or the year they started, and the shirt starts to feel like theirs. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a good wrap gift, and the Team Shop handles every size in one order.
Camera Operator gift questions
Can I add a specialty like steadicam or drone to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the specialty there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Can I add a production company or film name?
Yes, in the second line. Keep it short so it prints clearly on the shirt or mug.
What's a good gift for someone just starting out as a camera operator?
A hoodie or tee with their title and the year they started. It's something they can wear on early calls and it marks the start of the career.
What sizes do the camera operator shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a camera operator gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
