Gifts from Canal Point
Canal Point is a small place, a village on the shore of Lake Okeechobee in Palm Beach County, Florida, and it's the kind of town people leave for school or work and then keep coming back to. A Canal Point shirt is how someone who grew up there, or whose family did, says where they're from without a long explanation. Small towns make good gifts because the people who love them tend to be proud of them in a quiet way. A hoodie suits the grandparent who never left, a tee suits the cousin who moved to Atlanta, and a mug suits the kitchen where the town's news still gets discussed each morning. Most designs let you add a second line, so you can put a year, a street, a school mascot or a family name under the town name and make it theirs.
