Gifts from Cardington
Cardington is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. A shirt with the village name is for the person who comes back for the summer fete, the one who still knows which pub had the good Sunday roast and who remembers the bus that ran once a day. Because it's small, a Cardington design works best when it's personal: add a street, a school year, a family name, or the year they left and came back. The gift lands when it feels like something from home, not a souvenir from a shop that's never heard of the place. If you're not sure how much they'd want the village on a shirt, a mug is a gentler choice, something they'll reach for each morning without it being a statement. Type the name into the text box and check the preview; a short village name often looks striking on a dark tee.
Cardington gift questions
Can I add a street or a family name under the village name?
Many designs have a second line. Type a street, a family name or a year there and the live preview will show how it sits beneath the village name before you order.
Are there Cardington designs for babies and kids?
Yes. Cardington designs come as kids T-shirts, kids dark T-shirts and baby onesies. Use the product filter to see which designs are available in each style.
Will the name look good on a dark shirt?
Usually. Check the Dark T-shirt designs and use the preview to see how the lettering reads against the fabric colour before you finish.
Can I use the village name for a family event?
Yes. Many people order matching shirts for a reunion or village gathering using the Team Shop, which lets you paste a list of names and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the cardington shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Cardington gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
