Gifts from Castine
Castine is a small town on the Penobscot Bay coast of Maine, the kind of place where people know their neighbors and summer visitors come back year after year. A shirt that says Castine is a way for someone who grew up there, or who spent summers there, to carry the town with them through the rest of the year. The people who love a place like this often feel a little homesick for it, and a town shirt answers that feeling directly. Pair the word with a second line for a year, a street, or the name of a family cottage and it becomes theirs. A hoodie suits cool evenings on the water, a mug suits the first coffee of a winter morning in a city, and a kids tee lets a young person start claiming the town early. Because Castine is a small place, it's worth looking at the designs closely in the preview before you order, so the layout fits the word.
