Picking a gift for a cert occupational therapy asst
Certified occupational therapy assistants spend their days helping people relearn the ordinary things, like buttoning a shirt, holding a spoon, or getting back to work after an injury. They're on their feet, moving equipment, and working one-on-one with patients who often need encouragement as much as exercises. A gift that acknowledges the hands-on, patient-centered side of the job tends to land well. Put COTA on the front, and add the setting they work in, such as pediatrics, hand therapy, skilled nursing or home health, on the second line so it's clearly theirs. A mug for the morning coffee before a long day of sessions, or a hoodie for the cold clinic hallway, makes practical sense. If you're buying for a whole department, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each therapist's name on their own shirt, which tends to be more appreciated than another round of cafeteria lunch.
Cert Occupational Therapy Asst gift questions
What does COTA stand for?
COTA stands for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Many people in the field use the abbreviation on their badges, so it's a natural fit for a shirt or mug. If you want to be sure of the exact wording, ask them how they usually write it.
Can I add their practice setting to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type in a setting like pediatrics, hand therapy or home health. Check the preview to make sure the spacing looks right before you order.
Is there a good gift for a new COTA who just passed the exam?
A hoodie or tee with their credential and the year they earned it is a nice way to celebrate. It's practical for work and it marks the moment they got there.
Can I order shirts for my whole therapy department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the cert occupational therapy asst shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a cert occupational therapy asst gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
