Gifts from Chariton
Chariton is a small place, and that's the point. Someone from Chariton usually knows the road names, the people at the gas station and which field the fireworks go off from, even after they've moved on. A shirt that says Chariton is how they say home without a speech, whether they're at a reunion, a college campus far away or just the county fair. Because the name is less familiar to most of the world, the gift lands when it's personal: add a graduation year, a street, or the name of the school or family the person grew up with. A hoodie suits a cold Iowa-style winter or a first apartment, and a mug is a quiet daily reminder of home for the one who left. Since it's a smaller town, a second line with a detail only a local would recognize makes the design feel like it was made for them.
Chariton gift questions

What's a good gift for someone who moved away from Chariton?
