Gifts from Cheboygan
Cheboygan is a small city on the Lake Huron shore at the top of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, where the Cheboygan River runs into the lake. People who grew up there tend to keep their hometown close, whether they still live on the water or have moved away for school or work. A shirt with Cheboygan on it is how they claim the place, especially for summer trips to the lake, family visits home, or the kind of town pride that shows up at a high school reunion. Because the name is less familiar to outsiders, a gift with it often sparks a question, and that's part of the fun. For someone who left, a mug or hoodie with Cheboygan is a daily reminder of where they're from. You can type a year, a class, or a street or family name on a second line to make the design their own.
