Gifts from Chefornak
Chefornak is a small community on the Kuskokwim coast of southwest Alaska, and people who grew up there or moved away carry it with them. A shirt or mug with the village name is a way to claim the place, whether it's for someone who still lives there, a relative who left for school or work, or a family that's spread across the state. Because it's a small place, most people who know it will recognize the name at a glance, and that recognition is part of the gift. The shirt says home without any explanation needed. If you're shopping for someone who has left, a hoodie makes a good cold-weather reminder, and a mug suits the morning routine. You can add a second line for a family name or the year they left or came back. I don't know much about the village's history or local events, so I'd lean on the name and your own memories of the person rather than any details I could get wrong.
Chefornak gift questions
Can I add a family name under the village name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a family name, a year or a nickname there and check the preview before ordering.
Is Chefornak a common design word?
It's a place name, so the designs use the village name itself. Every design is a text-based print, so the name shows up exactly as you type it.
Can I order for a whole family at once?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, so everyone gets a shirt with their own name.
What sizes do the chefornak shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Chefornak gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
