Gifts from Cheshire
Cheshire is a county in northwest England, and the word can mean a few things at once: the old county with its market towns and salt-marsh flats, the cat from the story with the famous grin, or a family whose name traces back to that place. A shirt or mug that says Cheshire suits someone who grew up there, moved away, or simply loves the cat. Cheshire is also a name that turns up in families and on people, so a design might be for someone whose surname it is. If the recipient is from the county, a Cheshire tee or hoodie is a quick way to say you know where they're from. If they're the cat person in the group, the mug and onesie designs lean playful. Use the second line to add a town, a family name or a year, and the design becomes theirs rather than a generic souvenir.
Cheshire gift questions
Does Cheshire mean the county or the cat?
Both are possible. The word is the same, so choose the design whose look fits the person. Many designs have a second line where you can add a town or a name to make the meaning clear.
Can I add a town or village under Cheshire?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a place, a year or a name. Type the town there and the preview will show how it sits under the main word.
Is Cheshire a common surname?
It's less common than many English surnames, but families with the name exist. If you're buying for someone with that surname, a design with their family name on the second line works well.
What sizes do the cheshire shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Cheshire gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
